#TheSuperKids Protein Chocolate Crackles

A healthy take on the childhood favourite

WelleCommunity member Bianca Silver gives the classic choc crackle a healthy twist.

 

INGREDIENTS

1 scoop WelleCo's The Super Kids Elixir + Protein

1 cup brown rice puffs

1/2 cup quinoa puffs

1/2 cup buckwheat puffs

1/2 cup chopped roasted almonds 

1/2 cup shaved coconut

1/2 cup coconut oil

2 tbsp honey or rice malt syrup

1 tbsp almond butter

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cacao powder

Dark chocolate (optional)

 

METHOD

Add all dry ingredients into large mixing bowl and mix/toss until evenly combined.

Using the double boiler method, combine the coconut oil, honey, cacao powder, almond butter and vanilla extract and thoroughly mix into a smooth, runny consistency.

Transfer wet mixture into large mixing bowl and fold in until the dry ingredients are evenly coated.

Place mixture into patty pans or silicone moulds and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to set. Enjoy!

Optional: drizzle dark chocolate on top for extra sweetness!
