Choc Collagen Quinoa Crisps

WelleCommunity member @thefitfeast has delivered us the most perfect, crunchy little treats, filled with collagen, for the ultimate glow-up beauty snack 💫

 

INGREDIENTS

Dry:

1 cup of puffed quinoa

1/4 cup of cacao powder

2 tablespoons of WelleCo The Collagen Elixir

Wet:

1 cup of tahini (or any nut butter)

1/4 cup of maple syrup (do 1/3 cup if you like sweet)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Other:

Dark chocolate block

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Shaved coconut for the top

 

METHOD

Add all your dry ingredients into a bowl.

In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together the wet ingredients until smooth.

Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir well.

Pour mixture into a lined square tin (or loaf tin) and pop into freezer for 1 hour.

Melt your dark chocolate and coconut oil together. Pour chocolate mixture over the top of the bars, top it with shaved coconut and pop back into the freezer for another 30 minutes.

Cut the bars into little squares and enjoy!
