Elle Macpherson in Conversation with Tanya Kaiser

Fasting, ageing, loving. It’s all here.

At WelleCo, our philosophy has always been shaped by lived experience. Founded by Elle Macpherson following her own transformative wellness journey, the brand continues to evolve through meaningful conversations with practitioners, experts, and individuals who are deeply connected to their health through body, mind, energy, and the power of consistent, daily routines.

In this conversation, Elle sat down with Tanya Kaiser, founder of TLConnection Inc, a company offering highly curated live virtual programs that have been styled and designed to help employees deepen their connection to themself, their families, and their co-workers, resulting in better health, better performance and heightened enjoyment of their overall lives.

On Returning to the Body

A central theme of the conversation was the idea that many of us have become disconnected from our bodies. In a world that prioritises productivity and performance, there is a tendency to override subtle signals — fatigue, tension, emotional shifts — until they become impossible to ignore.

Tanya speaks to this with clarity: the body is always communicating. Whether through physical signals, emotional responses, or energetic shifts, it offers constant feedback. The practice, she explains, is not about fixing the body, but about learning to listen to it again.

Elle reflects on her own journey, noting that wellness was not something she arrived at overnight. It was a gradual return — a process of understanding what her body needed, and allowing space to respond to it. This idea of allowing, rather than forcing, sits at the heart of both women’s philosophies.

Energy as Information

Tanya’s work focuses on the understanding that energy is not abstract — it is informational. It reflects how we are living, what we are holding onto, and where we may be out of alignment.

She describes how unresolved stress, emotional patterns or even daily habits can become stored within the body. Over time, this can manifest as fatigue, imbalance or a sense of disconnection. The goal is not to eliminate these experiences, but to move through them — to create flow where there has been stagnation.

Elle connects this to a more tangible, everyday practice: how we nourish ourselves. From what we eat, to how we move, to the routines we build — these are all forms of energetic input. They either support the body’s natural rhythm, or disrupt it.

The Power of Routine

Both Elle and Tanya return to the importance of daily routines. Not as something elaborate or performative, but as something consistent and grounding.

For Elle, this begins with simplicity. A morning routine that supports her from within — hydration, nourishment through WelleCo’s Super Elixir, and moments of stillness, followed by light and joyful exercise — walking or rebounding — creating a foundation for the day ahead. It is less about perfection, and more about consistency.

Tanya echoes this, emphasising that small, repeated actions are what create lasting change. The nervous system responds to safety and predictability. When we create routines and rituals that signal care and support, the body begins to shift out of stress and into balance.

This approach is the foundation of WelleCo’s mission: creating products to sit alongside practices that integrate seamlessly into daily life. Not as a quick fix. As a steady, supportive presence.

The conversation also touches on fasting — not as a trend, but as a practice of reset and renewal. For Elle, fasting has become a considered and intentional part of her routine, approached with awareness and respect for the body.

At different points throughout the year, she incorporates longer fasts — including three to five day water fasts — as a way to support the body’s natural processes. Rather than restriction, she describes fasting as spaciousness. A pause. An opportunity for the body to recalibrate without constant input. Over time, it becomes less about discipline, and more about understanding — learning when to nourish, and when to allow the body to rest.

What emerges is a more intuitive relationship with food and energy. One that is not driven by rules, but by awareness.

Emotional Awareness and Self-Compassion

Another key thread in the conversation was the role of emotional awareness. Tanya speaks to the importance of recognising what we are feeling, without judgement.

Too often, there is a tendency to suppress or bypass emotions in the pursuit of “wellness.” But true wellbeing, she suggests, comes from acknowledging the full spectrum of human experience — and responding with self-compassion.

Elle shares that this has been one of the most significant shifts in her own life. Moving away from external validation, and towards an internal sense of balance and acceptance, has changed how she defines beauty and wellness altogether. It is not about achieving a certain standard. It is about feeling aligned, energised and at ease within yourself.

Elle reflects, “I look back at pictures of myself when I was in my 20s, 30s, even 40s, and I just remember feeling so unattractive… and unsure of myself.” Yet with distance comes clarity: “I look back at those pictures and I go, I was extraordinary. But I didn’t feel it.” Today, that perspective has shifted entirely. “I’m 62… and I feel more confident and vibrant now than I did when I was 20 — because it doesn’t depend on the way I look, it depends on the way I feel… the practices that I have in my life.”

An Integrated Approach to Wellness

What becomes clear throughout this conversation is that wellness is not a single practice or product — it is an integrated, holistic approach.

It is how we nourish the body, and also how we support the mind. It is the routines we return to, and also the awareness we bring to them. It is both physical and energetic, tangible and intuitive.

WelleCo was founded on this very principle: that true beauty is achieved through wellness. It is an expression of internal balance. That when we support the body from within — through quality ingredients, thoughtful routines, and consistent care — the external naturally follows.

This is not about striving for perfection. It is about creating the conditions for the body to function as it is designed to.

Listening, Supporting, Allowing

If there is one takeaway from Elle and Tanya’s conversation, it is this: wellness begins with listening.

Listening to your body.
Listening to your energy.
Listening to what you need — and allowing yourself to respond.

From there, everything else becomes clearer. The routines you build, the products you choose, the way you move through your day — all become expressions of that connection.

It is a joy for us to support you in returning to yourself. To provide tools that fit into your life, not complicate it. Products from nature, as nature intended them to be. And to remind you that wellness is not something to chase — it is something you can come back to, every day.
